In an ever-evolving industry, staying focused and aligned with our core values is key. At our company, we pride ourselves on working closely with start-up fashion brands, providing not only services but also education and a commitment to building strong, lasting relationships. Our clients come first, and we are dedicated to offering them the white-glove service they deserve. As we move forward, we're sharpening our focus to ensure we're delivering the best possible support and expertise to those who are fully committed to their fashion business journey. Here’s a look at our top three focus areas that are shaping our approach and helping us better serve our clients.

Game-Changers: Our Top 3 Focus Areas!

Our company has always specialized in working with and educating start-up fashion brands, building strong relationships and long-term commitments. Our clients come first because they seek this kind of partnership; they want to understand the business and receive white-glove service. When we work with our clients from start to finish, we build a solid partnership based on mutual commitment. Starting a fashion business requires a great deal of dedication and education from the client. To honor those who have fully committed to their business, we need to dedicate our time to serving these clients to the best of our ability. We've always been about this! So, what's changed?

LASER FOCUS #1: PRIORITIZING OUR TARGET CLIENTS
We are no longer accepting low MOQ production from companies that are not our development clients. Our development clients deserve priority and depending on their chosen production pathway, they have priority access to this service. For non-development clients, we will decide on a case-by-case basis, provided they have produced a minimum of two full seasons. We take our meet and greets seriously because not everyone is a perfect match, and that's okay. We always encourage our clients to focus on their target customers, and we do the same to provide the best service for those who fit our model.
How It Impacts You: We are focusing exclusively on projects within our scope and workflow. This change allows us to dedicate more time to our current clients, who deserve our full attention. We are committed to helping brands for the long haul, focusing on building relationships first.

LASER FOCUS #2: REFINING OUR OFFERINGS
We will no longer provide low MOQ children’s wear production after this Fall Season, even for our current clients. While we excel in developing stellar children’s wear brands, we are not a fit for low MOQ children’s clothing due to the price points required. Smaller production runs often take more time, which impacts our ability to serve our clients efficiently.
How It Impacts You: This change allows us to concentrate on the areas where we can provide the most value, ensuring that our services meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

LASER FOCUS #3: REFINED CLIENT INTAKE CRITERIA
Starting this Spring Development Season (beginning in September), we will no longer accept new start-ups that haven't completed a clear-cut point of entry analysis. This plan should include:

  • Target customer
  • Product outline
  • Required price points
  • Distribution plan (B2C, B2B, or other)
  • Production direction (e.g., Canadian Made, US Made, Off-Shore) and how this aligns with the required price points.

How It Impacts You: These details are crucial for any new business to understand before launching a brand. It wouldn’t be ethical for us to work with you without this foundation, as you’d be investing in development without a clear plan. For those who need assistance, we offer the Apparel Discovery Course to help you kickstart your product development journey. Starting September 1st, all new start-up inquiries will be required to complete an assessment before moving forward to a meet-and-greet call.

These focused changes are designed to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our partnerships with clients. By prioritizing our target clients, refining our offerings, and setting clear intake criteria, we aim to provide unparalleled support and expertise. We believe that these adjustments will not only help us serve our clients better but also foster stronger, more successful fashion brands. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We're excited about the future and look forward to continuing to help you achieve your business goals!
